Christ Reformed Church, 502 Main St., Alexandria, will host a sermon series focusing on the book of Revelation. The series will be held Sunday evenings at 6 p.m. beginning Sept. 13.

Participants will discover the victory that can only be found in the Lord, through a look at the apocalyptic journey of the Apostle John through his Revelation of Jesus Christ.

Canoe Creek Brethren in Christ’s free block party, Jubilee for Jesus, will be held from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Sept. 8. The event includes games, food, school supplies giveaways, bounce house and more. The event will be held rain or shine.

The church is at 348 Beaver Dam Road, Hollidaysburg, just past the Canoe Creek State Park Entrance No. 3, on the east side of Canoe Creek.

FrontLine Ministries will present its 20th annual Last Blast of Summer YouthFest at DelGrosso’s Park on Sunday.

This annual worship service and concert will feature an array of special speakers and performers. Worship service begins at 11 a.m. with the Allan Scott Band. VERSES will perform at 3 p.m. and Colton Dixon will perform at

7 p.m.

FrontLine Ministries was founded in 1994 by George Palmer. The ministry has a teen outreach center and summer camps, works with teens and their families dealing with the struggles of alcohol and drug abuse, and mentoring single teen moms and troubled youth.

Effective this weekend, the Mass schedule for St. Mark’s and Holy Rosary churches is: Saturday, 4:30 p.m. at St. Mark’s; Sunday, 8:30 a.m. at St. Mark’s and 11 a.m. at Holy Rosary. Notice new Sunday Mass time at St. Mark’s.

Donations of clothing and non-perishable foods will be accepted from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Hollidaysburg Church of the Brethren, 1028 Penn St. (Route 36).

The church parking lot will serve as a collection site for the American Rescue Workers. Tax receipts for donations are available.

Altoona Aglow will meet at 10 a.m. Sept. 8 at Center City Church, 801 Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona. Helena Harn, Aglow President, is the speaker. Men and women are welcome at the meeting. The 37th anniversary Birth of Mary Celebration will be held Sept. 8 at St. Catherine of Siena Shrine, old Rt. 22, Duncansville.

Mass with celebrant Msgr. Robert Saly will be held at 7:45 a.m. and noon. From 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., Holy Rosary commences in the church. Rosary in the church and shrine will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. The Very Rev. Richard Davis, T.O.R., will be the celebrant/homilist for the 5 p.m. Mass.

Food will be available from 11:30 a.m. to

4 p.m. Coffee and cake will be available after the evening Mass.
