Three men with local ties attend St. Vincent Seminary

Three men with ties to the Altoona-Johnstown Diocese are among the new students at St. Vincent Seminary this year.

Justin P. Treon of Cresson is entering the pre-theology program and is with the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown. He is a 2013 graduate of Bishop Carroll Catholic High School, Ebensburg, and earned a bachelor of arts degree in English from Mount Aloysius College, Cresson, in 2017. He is the son of Raymond and Mary Ann Treon of Cresson.

Michael A. Pleva of Altoona, with the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown, is a 2013 graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic High School, Altoona. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in philosophy from Gannon University, Erie, in 2017. He is the son of Russell and Mary Ann Pleva of Altoona.

Jordan M. Hainsey of Hollidaysburg is entering the theology program and is with the Diocese of Covington, Kentucky. A 2007 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School, he earned a bachelor of arts degree in graphic design and marketing from St. Vincent College in 2011. He is the son of Raymond and Denise Hainsey of Hollidaysburg.
