Seven Spring Wine Festival set for Aug. 28-30

SEVEN SPRINGS – Thirty-one wineries from all over the Keystone State will gather at Seven Springs Mountain Resort for the Seven Springs Wine Festival, Aug. 28 to 30.

One of the largest events of its kind in the state, the Seven Springs Wine Festival presents wineries including Allegheny Wine Cellars, Flickerwood Wine Cellars, Glades Pike Winery, Hauser Estate Winery, Presque Isle Wine Cellars, Starr Hill and the Winery at Wilcox.

Festival guests can sample from hundreds of different tastes, combinations and vintages, as well as purchase their favorites to take home. A complete list of attending wineries can be found online.

New this year, Wine Festival will include a Friday night session. This evening session will give guests the opportunity to interact with the wineries in a more intimate setting.

“The Seven Springs Wine Festival is a celebration of Pennsylvania wines that has become an annual tradition for friends and family,” said Alex Moser, director of marketing. “For 23 years, guests have been coming to our mountain to discover new wines, savor their favorites, take in the beauty of the mountain and enjoy all the fun we have to offer.”

A complimentary wine check service will be available to festival attendees.

This service allows guests to purchase their favorite wines on-site and have them stored for pick-up.

Wine check is open 5 to 9 p.m., Friday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

The festival also features a variety of foods from the Seven Springs culinary team including the Foggy Brews Buffet, lunch at Helen’s Restaurant, a cheese and baguette station, a mashed potato bar and more.

The event’s live entertainment selection includes Smokin’ Section, Holiday West Trip, Street Level, Mark Ferrari, Junction PA and Jason Craig and Mark Anthony.
