Florida Georgia Line to play Clearfield Fair

CLEARFIELD – Florida Georgia Line, the Oak Ridge Boys and Halestorm will perform at the 154th Clearfield County Fair, which will run July 28 through Aug. 2

All concert tickets purchased by April 16th will include free gate admission. Tickets purchased after that date will require a separate gate admission pass.

Florida Georgia Line will take the stage at 8 p.m. Thursday, July 31.

The duo’s multi-platinum singe “Cruise,” sold more than six million units. Singer/songwriters Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley will bring their hit songs “Get Your Shine On” and “Stay.”

Tickets are $50 for standing room only (also includes general admission seating in the bleachers) and $46 for grandstand seating. A pre-sale date of March 24 has been set for FGL Fan Club members.

The Oak Ridge Boys, with special guest Lee Greenwood, will perform at 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 29 and Halestorm will take the stage at 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1.

The group’s four-part harmonies and upbeat songs have spawned dozens of Country hits and earned them Grammy, Dove, CMA and ACM awards. They bring four decades of charted singles, and 50 years of tradition, to a stage show widely acknowledged as among the most exciting anywhere.

Greenwood, award-winning writer and musician known for his song “God?Bless The?USA,” will open the show.

Tickets are $22 for track seating and $18 for grandstand or bleacher seating.

Halestorm will rock the stage Aug. 1. The Pennsylvania-based quartet’s top singles include “I Get Off,” “It’s Not You” and “Love Bites (So Do I).” They have been touring for two years with acts as diverse as Shinedown, Stone Sour, Disturbed, Megadeth, Papa Roach and Godsmack.

Ticket prices are $30 for standing room only (also includes general admission bleacher seating) and $24 for grandstand seating.

Full Pull Productions will bring in the big Rigs, super stock tractors, diesel trucks and gasoline trucks on their new night, Wednesday, July 30, to see who reigns supreme as the biggest, baddest puller of their class.

Five total pulling classes are scheduled for this event – in two classes membership will not be required – and will offer 2014 points in the USA-EAST Point Race.

Classes are 8,000-pound pro stock diesel 4×4 trucks, 9,500-pound super stock tractors – the “Smoker Series,” 22,000-pound open street licensed semi-trucks; 8,000-pound work stock diesel 4×4 trucks, and 6,200-pound open street licensed gasoline 4×4 trucks.

The Fair will offer an advance gate admission only pass (no rides) for $5, an advance ride pass for $7 and the family value pass for $25 until July 27 or while supplies last.

A printable order form will be available for download on the Fair website. Phone orders are scheduled to begin in June. Saturday evening entertainment has not been secured yet.
