Wayne and Jeanne Fleck

Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Fleck of Sinking Valley recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend an open house at White Oak Hall, Fort Roberdeau, Sinking Valley, from 1 to 4 p.m. Sept. 16. Guests are requested to omit gifts.

The couple were married on Aug. 31, 1968, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sinking Valley, by the Rev. Kent J. Krause. Mrs. Fleck is the former Jeanne Fox.

They are the parents of three children: James (Jennifer) of Sinking Valley, Kimberli of State College and Ryan (Amy) of Sinking Valley.

They also have six grandchildren: Lyndsey, Remington, Lauren, Rylee, Maverick and Cassidy.

The couple are lifelong members of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sinking Valley.

Mr. Fleck retired after 32 years with PPG Industries, Tipton.

Mrs. Fleck is employed with Fink’s True Value Hardware, Tyrone.

The couple enjoy spending time with their family, traveling and going to the races.
