Adrian and Caroline Craver
The family of Adrian and Caroline Craver celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary recently with several gatherings of family and friends in their hometown of Florence, Ala., where they have resided for the past seven years.
The couple were married April 12, 1947, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Cresson.
Mrs. Craver is the former Caroline Galiffa.
The couple have five children: Barbara (Terry) Fleck of Ocala, Fla.; Susan Bell and Karen (Mahlon) Pentz of Florence; Janice (Tony) Kost of Altoona; and Alan J. (Brent) of Chicago.
They also have seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
The Cravers spent much of their life in Altoona, where Mr. Craver was employed by Penelec after serving in the U.S. Army in both World War II and the Korean Conflict.
The couple are members of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, the American Legion and Hi Neighbors of the Shoals, all in Florence.
